In today’s sedentary work culture, muscle tension in the neck is a common complaint. Usually, neck pain symptoms are in the general neck area, and they consist of an ache and general feeling that the blood isn’t circulating in the neck and head area as usual. It is also common for neck movement to be restricted.
More often than not, short-term discomfort is associated with a poor sleeping position, whiplash or strain on one side of the neck. Long-term discomfort usually related to sedentary work or other kinds of stationary work. Sometimes tension headaches are associated with the pain.
